Friday Nights seem to be my time to get out and take some pictures. This time time the area was Seattle North of the ship canal, Ballard, Wallingford, Shilshole, Fremont
and one Ravenna snuck in there - the beer hall. It is fun to get out and find some cool perspectives of places you see so often you take them for granted. I have been to quite a few of the places in these pictures in my younger Seattle days.
The Ray's Boathouse picture was by far the most challenging shot. The sign is constantly moving so focusing and keeping focus was really hard. To the eye the sign is bright red. I only got yellow. I thought the second one was cool because it gave a kind of a 70s electric company vibe. Pretty cool effect entirely accidental.
The surprise pics in this group was the 400 Conejos Mescal I stopped at a light and there it was.
Had some good times at the Lockspot one New Years eve with friends
The Octopus is just a classic bar.
Molly Moons fabulous Ice Cream
The coffee man on Market street was also me stopped at a stop light. Not a very good pic due to congestion in the image but the suspended in air look I thought was cool.
I'm really enjoying the Neon project in the cities I visit. I'll probably keep this thread going.
